FUN IN OCTOBER
Hey there everyone. Here is Gabby and Eli Halloween '08 . . . The Princess and her Monkey as Gabby called what they were dressed as. We had a party here for Halloween and had a lot of fun, we made candied apples and made a jack-o-lantern out of a watermelon instead of a pumpkin (since pumpkins here cost about $45 USD) . . . we also bobbed for apples and played Halloween themed pictionary . . . we had a lot of fun! Quite a few people came, it was a good time!Andy successfully bobbing for apples =+). Our friends had never heard of such a game as bobbing for apples . . . it was fun to see the stunned looks on their faces as Andy showed them how it was done!
Our watermelon Jack-O-Lantern =+)!
Eli enjoying ice cream from the ice cream man. Now that we have moved to a house on the street, there are many new things that we enjoy. One of those things is the ice cream man that comes by on a daily basis, he rides a motorcycle with a side car that is a freezer and sells ice cream. You can hear him coming from a mile away because of the tune being blared from his bike. We have only gotten ice cream from him once so far, as a treat . . . but every time Eli hears the ice cream man's tune, he starts clapping his hands and runs outside!
Gabby enjoying her ice cream too.
The many faces of Eli! :
Now that we live in a house instead of a condo, the kids go outside and play in the water from the hose every day . . . and it is even more fun for them when it rains (and it saves our water bill=+))!
Playing in the rain by our front gate.
Thanks for checking out the blog . . . i have been bad at taking pictures lately . . I need to get the camera out more often. Now that we are a bit more settled in the new place, I promise to post some photos (like many of you have been asking) of our house all set up. HUGS!!
