As many of you already know, this past Wednesday I (Bethany) went to an oral surgeon to get a lump in my cheek examined. Well I ended up getting it removed and sent to the lab for biopsy. The Dr. is pretty confident that it is benign because of its shape and my lack of symptoms, but even he said that you never know. So please be praying with us! Love to all and we hope you had an amazing Thanksgiving day!!

I just wanted to tell you something a little funny. Eli woke up from his nap about 10 minutes ago, I went up to get him from his room and when I got to him, he was moving his mouth kinda funny and wiggling his tongue around inside his mouth. I proceeded to ask him what he was eating, since there is nothing (that I know of) to eat in his room. He looked up at me and said "ants" . . . to which I replied "you're eating ants?!" and he said "yep!". I asked him if they were good, and he said "nope!" . . . man we have a nut in the house!! I'll upload a video about it later.

Our House and Other Fun
Eli was in a bad mood and I wanted him to smile for a photo, he didn't want to . . . so I told him that he had the best smile I know of and that convinced him to flash this huge grin at me =+)!

This is one of the yummy cookies the Gabster made for us at her cooking class!! I need to get her in the kitchen more often aparently!! =+)

Eli in front of the window looking into our kitchen . . . I love this window, it makes me feel less shut away from everyone when I am cooking . . . (and it also helps me to keep on a eye on the kids while still in the kitchen).

Thanks for caring enough to keep updated on us, please keep us in your thoughts, we have all been sick lately . . . no fun!! I'll post photos of upstairs another time.

FUN IN OCTOBER
Hey there everyone. Here is Gabby and Eli Halloween '08 . . . The Princess and her Monkey as Gabby called what they were dressed as. We had a party here for Halloween and had a lot of fun, we made candied apples and made a jack-o-lantern out of a watermelon instead of a pumpkin (since pumpkins here cost about $45 USD) . . . we also bobbed for apples and played Halloween themed pictionary . . . we had a lot of fun! Quite a few people came, it was a good time!

Eli enjoying ice cream from the ice cream man. Now that we have moved to a house on the street, there are many new things that we enjoy. One of those things is the ice cream man that comes by on a daily basis, he rides a motorcycle with a side car that is a freezer and sells ice cream. You can hear him coming from a mile away because of the tune being blared from his bike. We have only gotten ice cream from him once so far, as a treat . . . but every time Eli hears the ice cream man's tune, he starts clapping his hands and runs outside!
